Sometimes, the church is willing to apologize for committing its own sin of hatred.
In a Facebook post by Outrage magazine, some devout Catholics staged a rally during the 9th Baguio LGBT Pride March organized by the Amianan Pride Council on Dec. 5.
The march was held along Session Road and was headed for a solidarity program at the People’s Park.
According to this photo uploaded by Outrage magazine, Catholics held slogans that read “I’m sorry for using the Bible to hurt you.”
Another slogan read “God adores you.”

The post has gone viral since it was posted on Dec. 5. It has garnered over 3,000 shares and 7,000 likes.
The church considers homosexuality an intrinsic disorder and same-sex marriage a “sin to chastity.”
